ANTI-PLASTIC WEEK HIGHLIGHTS

1st October- Enactus ARSD gave alternatives to use of single use plastic products like coconut shells plants which can be reused as for carrying the plants from one place to another. This helped in reduction of usage of single use plastic polythene that depletes our environment. Second alternative was the replacement of plastic bags by canvas bags. Good quality canvas bags can be used for daily domestic purposes. 2nd October- On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Delhi Tourism and transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) held a Shram Daan cleaning drive and pledge taking ceremony against single use plastic. To contribute in this fruitful and constructive initiative, Enactus ARSD presented a nukkad natak at Delhi Haat INA. The play engaged onlookers and was successful in raising awareness to keep the city clean and plastic free.
